Engelse Hoeve breeding program taken over by Alfa Stables Belgium!

In the course of this year we will retire and move to our new house on Madeira - Portugal.

Therefore we decided to put our farm on the market in the summer of 2019. On the 29th of january 2021 the sale was a fact.
We are happy that we've found a very good new home for our broodmares: Els Goossens & Pascale Vlayen of Alfa Stables in Tessenderlo - Belgium (www.alfastables.be). They are very passionate in what they're doing and have a beautiful professional facility for their horses. They have taken over all our 7 mares: one 27 year old (Melandora), one yearling (Perla Barina EH) and 5 broodmares in foal (Chivadora EH in foal by Le Formidable, Havadora EH in foal by Franklin, Ilona Barina EH in foal by Hermès, Lunadora EH in foal by In Style and Latoya Dora EH in foal by Daily Diamond). They will continue our breeding program and will be advised and supported by us regarding stallion choice and sale of their foals. Together we are working on a successful cooperation in the future.

Yesterday our mares moved to their new home in Belgium. Many thanks to Marcel Jordan Horse Transport (www.marceljordan.com) for the caring and professional transportation of our mares! Below some pics to give an impression of the day.
