Our beloved Copacabana: R.I.P.

A nice sunny winterday in the pasture ended fatally for our beloved only 6 year old Copacabana. An unfortunate step on the frozen ground caused total fracture of her short pasternbone in her right hind foot, an extremely painful injury. Repair by surgery would have been very complicated, riskful and long lasting, at least 6 operations would be necessary, so we decided to save her from this horrible suffering and euthanized her yesterday evening. How fragile life can be! After a very unfortunate 2014 another dream gone with the loss of our beautiful showhorse and lovely mare Copacabana.
Copacabana rest in peace, we'll never forget you!
