Copacabana awarded the Oldenburger Verbandsprämie in Vechta!
June 12, 2012
Yesterday our 3 year old
Oldenburger mare Copacabana
(Fürst Romancier x Donnerhall) participated in the mare inspection and the
mare performance test
(Stutbuchaufnahme
und Stutenleistungsprüfung) at the
Oldenburg Horse Center in Vechta (Germany). The mare inspection takes place in a triangle, where constitution, walk and trot are being judged. The mare performance test is a test for 3 and 4 year old Oldenburger mares for judgement of: - the movements at liberty (trot and canter) and free jumping (also for dressage mares!) - the three gaits under the saddle, ridden by own rider - the rideability, ridden by a test rider An Oldenburger mare can only get a premium/predicate when she passes the mare performance test with good results. Copacabana put her best foot forward in the triangle, she trotted with lots of expression and suppleness. She also showed very well in the free moving/jumping arena, and for a 3 year old with only two months of saddle training, her saddle test was really impressive. She was awarded the Oldenburger Verbandspremium (Verbandsprämien Stute). Also see the video of Copacabana in the mare performance test: VIDEO Vechta |
