Haloa Barina is a true daughter of champions: her dam Elite mare Carina was overall champion of the dressage mares at the CK of Sevenum in 2010. Her sire Jazz is at the first place by far on the WBFSH list for dressage stallions, and Florencio won the World Championships of young dressage horses in Verden in 2004 and 2005. Out of her dam line (Zanka line, KWPN breeding family 401, which is at the 29th position in the top 50 of most successful KWPN dressage dam lines) successful sport horses and breeding stallions were born, like KWPN approved stallions Tolando and Landeur, Grand Prix dressage mare Tarina and the famous international GP horse Ideaal (by Doruto). Her pedigree, her extremely high dressage index, her uphill conformation, her light-footed movements and her great attitude make Haloa Barina a real future prospect!

In june 2016, as a 4 year old, she got the highest scores of all 4-7 year old dressage mares at the KWPN keuring in Alblasserdam, where she was awarded STER and qualified for the KWPN CK of Zuid-Holland. At the CK she was upgraded to voorl. KEUR.

Haloa took part in the IBOP test in Berlicum in september 2016, where she scored 79.5 points and a 8.5 for her trot! This was more than enough for getting the IBOP predicate and upgrading to KEUR: VIDEO of her IBOP test. Haloa has a PROK certificate (clean x-rays), this in combination with the KEUR predicate makes her Elite.
Haloa Barina took part in the 'Stal vd Sande dressuurtalent' competition in Berlicum in february 2017, and ended up with a nice score of 76 points (see picture below).
