De Engelse Hoeve wins business plan contest

While preparing to start our
company in 1998, we made a business plan. This plan describes the goals of the company,
our Way of Working and the finanicial consequences. In 1999 we participated in a business plan contest for starting companies, organized by "De Venlose Start", a co-operation between various regional banks, accountance offices and newspapers.

| We made a presentation of our
business plan in March 99 in the City Hall of Venlo, next to 2 other invitees from 7
original contenders. To our own surprise we went home with the first price of this quarterly
competition. Main positive remarks by the jury were the realism of the business plan (which includes the critical succes and failure factors), the financial detailing (like working with various model simulations to predict profitability) as well as the overall presentation. |

| Participating in this contest boosted our self-confidence, and gave us the feeling that we were on the right track, both in our enthousiasm for our company as well as in realism of our plans. | ||
