Our beloved Edgar: R.I.P.

Yesterday our beloved 29 year old Edgar (by Zevenster x Ramiro) passed away. He has been with us since june 1992. His wisdom and great personality made him a true friend. He was an amazing show horse, we had many victories, he loved to show. In 1996 his successful dressage career came to an end because of ataxia. After that, he became a loving mentor for our foals after weaning.
Last couple of years his mobility became more and more problematic, last sunday he couldn't get on his feet by himself anymore. Therefore we decided to save him from further infirmities of old age.
Dear Edgar, you were part of our life, we'll never forget you, rest in peace!
