Horse-A-Peel 2011: successful first edition!

On the bright sunny sunday of september 25 Horse-A-Peel had its first edition at Stal Lagevoort in Liessel. Horse-A-Peel is a new equine event with various clinics and demo's for everyone interested in horses, riding and breeding, organized by cooperative equine businesses from the region of De Peel in the south of the Netherlands. De Engelse Hoeve contributed with an instructive dressage clinic with one of her students, Laura Snijders and her horse Wizzard. The warming up of a dressage horse was demonstrated, as well as the training of lateral movements, flying changes etc. The clinic ended with a demo of the saddle pressure measurement system, with the sensorpad under Laura's saddle. Without knowing the results beforehand, we could all see from the projection of the results on the wall of the indoor arena, that Laura's saddle fitted well on her horse, and that she was sitting correctly in the center.
