Nevada Terma EH D-OC Mare, born: April 3rd 2018. KWPN dressage index (at birth):
Nevada Terma is from KWPN dam-line 150 / breeding family 151, the so called "Terma" damline. The Terma damline is at the 11th position in the top 50 of most successful KWPN jumping breeding families (see article). Many approved stallions and sportshorses originate from this dam line, among which: KWPN approved stallions Armstrong, Brainpower and Faram, NRPS approved stallion Optimo, AES and Zangersheide approved stallion Marome, BWP + Oldenburg approved stallion Rolando, and international jumping horses Soloterma (by Lux), BMC's Naomie (by Colino), Contact BZ (by Carthago), Utopie (by Jacomar) and his dam Pherna (by Calvados). Jumping genes in the bloodlines of a dressage horse are very much appreciated because of the attitude, canter and strong hindleg. Nevada Terma's greatgranddam Nerma gave show jumpers as well as dressage horses. Nevada Terma's granddam Werma gained an 8th place as a 4 year old in the national Pavo-cup dressage finals in Ermelo and she passed her Ibop exam with an amazing score of 84 points (highest score of all 19 participants in her Ibop class), and she was showing L2 dressage. Dam Donna Terma is showing M2 dressage and training Z dressage, she became champion of Kring Uden in the M1 class in 2014, and passed her Ibop exam in 2013 with an 8 for her walk and an 8 for rideability. Nevada Terma's sire Daily Diamond was KWPN licensing champion of the stallion performance test in the autumn of 2015 with a top score of 87.5 points. Daily Diamond is approved by KWPN, Westfalen, Hannover and Oldenburg. Mohave's grandsire San Remo sired two KWPN National (NMK) Champion mares (2006: Wiona Utopia, 2011: D.Obertje). What's interesting about Nevada Terma's bloodlines, is that she's 100% free of Jazz-Ferro-Flemmingh blood, which provides an opportunity for variation in the KWPN dressage horse breeding. Nevada Terma has the D-OC predicate (DNA score 104).
